Kari is responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial performance of Apartment Ventures, our investment arm of the firm, Sutter Investment Advisors, our asset management division and Fusion Property Management, our property management group. Kari has a deep transaction background, having structured complex mergers & acquisitions and debt facilities to achieve investor objectives. She began personally investing in Apartment Ventures in 2012, and officially joined the firm in early 2019 after a long tenure at CO-OP Financial Services, where she served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for 13 years. Kari is a CPA, received her EMBA from Claremont Graduate University, Drucker School of Business, and her undergraduate BA in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount. She currently serves on the Lusk Center for Real Estate Board at USC and has been on the board of several for and not-for profit organizations.
